Welcome to Carolina Gentleman Sportfishing and Spooners Bay Lodge,
located in Andros Bahamas!
The Carolina Gentleman and Captain Skipper
Gentry are based out of Morgan's Bluff, Andros, Bahamas. Andros is well known for the world class fishing area known as "the
Pocket", which conveniently is in our backyard and a short 15 minute ride from our marina. You can see the boats marlin
fishing from the porch of Spooners Bay Lodge, owned and operated by Captain Skipper Genry, that is available as lodging to
all of our guests. The Carolina Gentleman boat is a 60' Custom Carolina built by Billy Holton that will quickly
get you to the fishing grounds at 25 knots. This area is perfect for your next vacation for many reasons.
Everything from Blue Marlin to Bonefish await you in this majestic chain of islands.
We can taylor a customized trip for you and your party to make the best experience avaible. Once you fish the prestine waters of the Bahamas with it's fishing grounds only 15 minutes from the
dock, you will understand why these islands are host so many world class Marlin Tournaments such as the worlds
oldest series the Bahamas Billfish Championship. The waters of the Bahamas offers everyone from beginners and families
to seasoned professionals an experience of a lifetime. Right out in front of the beach all species of gamefish from
Blue Marlin to sailfish, Mahi Mahi, Tuna, and Wahoo all congregate just offshore.
If chasing bonefish on the gin clear waters of the flats is more
of your pace then Andros is the place to be. Know as one of the top destinations for bonefish, you will be happy walking
out of the back door to one of our 3 flats boats and local licenses Bahamian guides who will treat you to an excellent day
on the flats.
One option most enjoy is having local Bahamian
cuisine cooked at the house by our wonderful, Renae and staff. She will treat you to an assortment of local dishes made to
order.
We
are also available for charter all tourmanments throughout the Bahamas and have a great tournament record.
We are
a licensed Bahamaian Charter Boat which has to book all charters IN
THE US before the party arrives in the Bahamas. It is against Bahamian law to reserve any charters
after you arrive in the Bahamas
